LOLLY CAKE
Selamat pagi bloggers! (That's good morning in Indonesian which I learned at my school in Melbourne!)Today I'd like to tell you about my favourite things we did in lock down online school this week which were:
- Sharing our home baking
Writing and baking are two of my most favourite things so I am going to share how I made lolly cake with you all so you can make it with your family to.
How to make the Best Lolly Cake on Earth!
What you will need!
Glad Wrap
1 Wooden Spoon
1 bowl
1 knife
1 pot
1/2 a can of Condensed Milk
1/2 - 2 cups of Coconut
1 pack of Malt Biscuits
1 - 1/2 bags of Pasco's Explorers lollies
100g of Butter
Method:
First, start by cutting (or breaking) your Explorers and put them in your bowl.
Once you have done, that crush your Malt Biscuits and put them in the bowl with your Explorers.
After that, put you 100g of butter and your 1/2 a can of Condensed Milk in a pot and make sure that you mix it regularly and take it off the heat once the butter is all melted.
Then pour your melted butter and Condensed Milk in the bowl with the biscuits and Explorers.
Mix together until well combined and make sure its not too wet, otherwise it will not hold in a log.
Now roll into a log and put the Coconut on a chopping board, and roll the log onto the Coconut to make a covering on it.
Once that is done, cover in Glad Wrap, put on a plate, and make room for it in the fridge!
Let it set for 3 - 5 hours and eat it for dessert with a cup of tea!
Bravo Olive. That’s a well written recipe, so easy to follow. Yum! I have added those ingredients to my shopping list. I’m not sure how I’ll manage to wait 3 to 5 hours for it to set! Keep up your awesome learning. Thanks for sharing. Have a great weekend.
ReplyDeleteThis sounds very yummy Olive. Your instructions are very clear I'm sure I will be able to make this. Great procedural writing. Keep up your awesome efforts. Debs
